LIFE IN PRE-K
P.S. 128M's Pre-K is a full day program designed to educate students through academics, hands-on fun, trips, and activities.
Students are served family-style breakfasts and lunches, are provided time for rest in the afternoon, and engage in many social-learning activities throughout the day.
All our Pre-K students have the opportunity to engage in the many cluster programs offered at P.S. 128M. Such classes include visual arts, technology, dance, physical education, and music.
Pre-K students also participate in three annual events, including our Character Day parade, Rudolph's Holiday Parade, and the Lunar New Year Parade!
FIELD TRIPS
Exploration is a huge aspect to learning as a Pre-K student. Therefore, beginning in January, Pre-K students attend many field trips to expand on their academic experience. Students visit sites such as The Bronx Zoo, Central Park Zoo, Alley Pond Environmental Center, The New York Botanical Gardens, Children's Museum of Manhattan, and Green Meadows Farm.
Trips and activities will vary each school year. For more information, please reach out to our Pre-K Assistant Principal, Ms. Yvette Corporan.
